The purpose of this book is to assist you to attain a clear understanding of how to clearly diagnose your patient’s biomechanical anomalies and how to customise your prescription to then provide truly effective orthotic therapy in your own practice.
From the outset it is important to understand that orthotic therapy is not a ‘stand alone therapy.’ It is most effective when used in combination with your own particular modality in the clinic setting as a practitioner.
The NBATM system is a valuable ‘tool’ in the hands of the practitioner and may need the support of other complementary treatments to assist the patient in a program of improving wellness. The NBATM system combines realignment and support approaches with the treatment of lower limb anomalies and dysfunctions that originate from them.
The core of the book is the NBATM system, which I apply in my own clinics. I have combined many accepted techniques and added my own unique approaches and methods into an easy to follow set of principles and formulas.
The Najjarine Biomechanical Assessment System gives you clear diagnostic tools to clearly assess, educate and treat your patients, as well as being able to confidently utilise Crown Medical Orthotics as the base treatment modality.
With the information in this book you will be able to enhance your effective use of orthotics and bring superior levels of treatment to even the more severe cases.
